Webliography

View Faculty Instructions

  • Webliography is a shared list of web sites relevant to the class.
  • Webliography is found on the Class Menu however faculty may remove webliography from all Class Menus.
  • Students and faculty may add to the webliography at any time throughout the semester.
  • Students may delete or edit their own entries.
  • Faculty may edit and delete any entry at any time.
  • Faculty may rearrange items in the list.
  • Clicking an item link will open the site in its own window.
  • Items cannot be posted anonymously. The author of each webliography submission is automatically identified in the Webliography view.

Add a Web Site

  1. Select Webliography from the Class Menu.
  2. Click Add Web Site
  3. Enter the complete URL in the Web Site Address text box.
  4. Enter a title. Do not use HTML tags in a title box.
  5. Enter a brief description of what the site is about.
  6. Optional: Attach files to supplement the web site.
  7. Click Submit. You will then be presented with the Webliography table of contents with your newly added site listed.
  8. Click the site you added to make sure you entered the URL correctly.

Edit or Delete a Web Site Listing

  1. A web site listing may be edited at any time by the author. Faculty may edit or delete any webliography listing at any time. Once a site is deleted, however, it can only be added again by following the steps listed above.
  2. Click My Webliography
  3. Click either Edit or Delete links beside the site you wish to ammend.
  4. Follow the prompts as given.
