Syllabus tools are available in the Faculty Center.  Items created here will appear on the Class Menu under the section titled Syllabus.

The type of Syllabus used in your class (Traditional or WWS) is determined by your academic program.

Certain sections of the syllabus are editable and created by faculty members.

You may revise editable sections at any time.

You may attach a file to the Course Schedule

It is recommended that each time you revise the syllabus you notify students by making a Class Announcement.

Create Syllabus Material

  1. Click Faculty Center on the Class Menu.
  2. Click on Create Text or Create URL beside the Syllabus link
  3. Type or paste text into the text boxes. Do not use HTML tags in a title box.
  4. Click Submit at the bottom of the page.

Edit Syllabus Material

  1. Click Faculty Center on the Class Menu.
  2. Click Manage beside the Syllabus link
  3. Type or paste text into the text boxes. Do not use HTML  tags in a title box.
  4. Click Submit at the bottom of the page.

Change Availability of Syllabus Items

  1. Click on Faculty Center on the Class Menu.
  2. Click on Options beside the Syllabus link
  3. Click Yes or No beside the area you wish to change availability for.
  4. Click Submit at the bottom of the page
