Even if you choose to never use the Text Formatting Editor to create text, you must be able to view other class members' TFE created submissions. Therefore, you must have the correct JavaScript installed on your computer.

Download and install the Flash Player so you may view animated illustrations available within this site. (Optional)

Plain Text (Simplest and Quickest)

Recommended for: Brief notes that require no formatting.

Not recommended for: Text that requires lists, bold text, italics, etc.

Advantages: Very quick and easy to use, and available in all areas of WebTycho.

Disadvantages: Text submissions are very plain in appearance.

To enable: Go to Account Preferences and click Disable beside Text Formatting Editor.

Note: Any text between pairs of square brackets surrounding greater/less than brackets will not appear at all. These are interpreted as HTML tags.

Caution: Copy and Paste from Microsoft Word or another software program into a Plain Text box may result in distorted text. Read more...
