1. Manage Content Accessible through the Faculty Center, Manage Content allows you to revise existing content.
2. Create Content Overview Create Content tools are available in the Faculty Center. Items created here will appear for all class members on the Class Menu under the section titled Course Content. Content make take the form of text, links to a web site(URL), or links to a CD ROM (URL.)


3. Content as Text You may post content in the form of original text you create within WebTycho. When students click on links you have created for these items on the Class Menu, they will be presented with your text in the work area of the classroom.
Create Content as Text (instead of as a web site or CD ROM URL)

4. Content as Web Site (URL) If you have created a web site with text, images, and other material, rather than recreate it here you may simply provide a link to it in Course Content.
- Click on Faculty Center
- Beside Course Content, click on Create URL
- Enter the URL in the box
- Complete other fields on the form and click Submit

5. Content as CD ROM Faculty may link to content provided on a CD ROM that is mailed to students or that is included with a purchased textbook. To view the material the CD must be inserted in the computer drive and faculty and students must have the correct drive specified in Account Preferences.
6. Create Library of Files (Place Holder for Files) Faculty may upload and store a collection of documents in WebTycho that may be linked to from any TFE text box in this classroom by any class member. If you also make it Available it also may be accessed by everyone from the Class Menu (under Course Content.) You may also import these documents into other WebTycho classes.
Even if you do not make a link to the Place Holder for Files available on the Class Menu, all documents stored there will be available to everyone who uses the TFE when he or she creates a hyperlink and selects from the local library.
Upload a file
- Click Faculty Center on the Class Menu
- Beside Course Content, click Manage
- Beside the Place Holder for Files link, click Edit
- Enter text in the text box.
- Click Attach Files and follow the prompts
